We are hiring for a client - a dynamic, early-stage startup creating innovative, science-driven solutions, who is now gearing up for the next growth phase. They are in the final stages of securing pre-series A institutional investment. To help scale efficiently and professionally, we're seeking a General Manager (Admin & Finance) to lead and optimize their operational foundation.

What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage all administrative, financial, legal, regulatory, and compliance functions
- Establish and maintain systems for accounting, payroll, vendor management, and procurement
- Work with external consultants, vendors, and regulators to ensure statutory compliance (ROC, GST, TDS, etc.)
- Build internal financial processes, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports
- Assist founders in fundraising, reporting, and contract management
- Support HR operations (contracts, policies, onboarding, insurance, etc.)
- Be a go-to resource for non-technical matters, helping the team stay focused on science and innovation
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or related field (MBA/CA/CS a plus)
- 6+ years of experience in administrative, financial, and compliance roles—ideally in startups or small companies
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory frameworks (ROC, CAA, GST, Income Tax, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and people skills

- Experience setting up systems in early-stage companies
- Exposure to scientific research or biotech industries
- Startup or venture-backed company experience
