Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant, located in Chennai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budget preparation. The role also involves accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the senior accounting team to support overall financial management and operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports
  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and managing payroll
  • Knowledge and compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and budget preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Tally Software and Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities
