About the role:

Orica is seeking an Assisstant Maintenance to join our Maintenance team in Agucha. In this role, you'll be central to keeping our mobile fleet and plant equipment operating safely and efficiently. You'll work hands-on with a variety of equipment, ensuring all maintenance meets high standards and complies with safety codes. Your proactive approach to risk management—identifying issues early and taking action—will help protect our people and assets.

Beyond technical work, you'll play a vital role in building a stronger team and a safer workplace. You'll share your expertise, mentor team members and contractors, and support continuous improvement by contributing ideas that make our operations safer, more efficient, and more innovative. Every day, your work will have a visible impact—on the equipment you maintain, the people you support, and the processes you help improve.

What You'll Do:

  • Service & Repair: Plan and perform servicing, repairs, and fix breakdowns for our fleet and plant equipment.
  • Quality & Safety: Make sure all maintenance meets Orica's standards and follows important safety codes.
  • Risk Management: Spot risks early and take action to keep things safe and running smoothly.
  • Support & Mentor: Help rebuild product pumps, support field technicians, and guide staff and contractors.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with the Lead – Asset, Maintenance Supervisors, and Territory Managers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share feedback, help solve recurring issues, and suggest ways to make things better.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in maintenance and reliability for mobile fleet or plant equipment.
  • Familiarity with SAP PM and safety codes.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.
  • Willingness to mentor and support others.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
