Finance Manager Real Estate

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Statements

  • Prepare and review financial statements for funding and internal reporting.
  • Prepare financial projections, forecasts, and feasibility analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Lender and Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with banks, lenders, auditors, and financial institutions for funding requirements.
  • Respond to financial and compliance queries raised by funders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance Management

  • Manage post-funding compliance activities and documentation.
  • Review and monitor statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure adherence to ROC compliance and other corporate governance requirements.

Monitoring & Review

  • Track financial performance against projections and budgets for the project.
  • Support statutory audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for financial control and efficiency.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, project cash flows, and funding structures.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting standards, compliance frameworks, and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 510 years of relevant experience in Real Estate industry (mandatory)

Qualification:

  • MBA (Finance) required
  • CA / CA Inter preferred
