Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Must-have:AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3, Iceberg), PySpark
  • Prior experience in lending is preferred, though other industries can be considered.
  • Lending experience (current or past) is preferred.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • Proven experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database design.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on Snowflake or Redshift or equivalent DWH tools
  • Experience with Financial services domain (Bank/NBFC/Fintech)
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
  • Certification in data engineering or related fields
