Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using C#, .NET, and C++ for integration as plugins with CAD tools like Solidworks, Ansys, and Fusion 360.
  2. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces tailored to CAD tool workflows within the PLM context.
  3. Implement and maintain code quality standards, ensuring efficient and reliable performance for the CAD integration plugins.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve defects, with a focus on the unique requirements of CAD tool users.
  5. Collaborate with software architects and other team members to define software requirements and specifications that align with Knyo PLM features and CAD tool integration.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to CAD tool integration and PLM, enhancing the development process.
  7. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop applications integrated as plugins with CAD tools.
  8. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to CAD-centric coding standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in desktop application development using C#, .NET, and C++, with a focus on plugins for CAD tools.
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows operating system internals and API.
  4. Experience with GUI development and familiarity with UX/UI design principles for CAD workflows within the PLM domain.
  5. Proficient understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control systems.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a specific focus on CAD tool integration challenges.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Familiarity with additional programming languages, such as Java or Python.
  2. Experience with multi-threading and parallel programming.
  3. Knowledge of PLM concepts and processes.
  4. Previous experience in agile development methodologies.
