Rozana Spokesman is a well-established media regional Punjabi media house that honours the spirit of Punjab. The company does not only operate a daily newspaper, but has a digital media channel across various social media platforms - Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc. It is associated with, and is reputed as a successful and reliable media source that disseminates news and information. The channel is also growing at remarkable pace, and has an ever-expanding reach and client base across Northern Indian states - primarily Punjab - and Punjabi and Hindi speaking populace worldwide.

The role of the Senior Marketing Executive is to work with the Head of Marketing and Customer Experience to plan and implement marketing activities which deliver on the marketing strategy, aligned to overall strategic company goals. The role is extremely varied, spanning a wide range of activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Head of Marketing and Customer Experience in the formulation and implementation of the marketing plan.
  • Effectively project manage assigned marketing campaigns in their entirety - from planning through to tracking and reporting on return on investment.
  • Act as a point of escalation for queries from the marketing team and other colleagues. Escalate critical items promptly to the Head of Marketing and Customer Experience.

  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. unit managers, colleagues, customers and partners; ensuring ongoing and continuous communication.

  • Carry out research on market trends, market opportunity, and competitor and target customer analysis to inform future value propositions.

  • Manage the production of marketing communications and promotional materials in line with brand guidelines including writing, editing and proofreading copy, briefing and directing designers, copywriters and printers.
  • Develop suitable campaign briefing documents for partners such as designers and copywriters.
  • Promote adherence to brand guidelines; police, format and print branded documents prepared by non-marketing colleagues.
  • Be able to work in a team, and hand-in-hand with the Head of Marketing to properly manage and ensure a well-oiled marketing team
  • To maintain relations with existing clientele
  • To cement newer marketing relationships with local vendors, and larger national vendors to bring in ad revenue for the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹65,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Direct sales: 2 years (Preferred)
