We are Hiring NPD Quality Inspector – Press Shop (2–3 Years Experience)

Position Details

  • Role: NPD Quality Inspector – Press Shop
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in manufacturing (sheet metal preferred)
  • Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
  • Shift: General Shift
  • Location: SGI Automotive Pvt Ltd – Unit 1
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) /B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have working knowledge of:
  • Video Measuring System (VMS)
  • New Product Development (NPD) inspection protocols
  • Contour inspection techniques

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of sheet metal components
  • Operate and interpret results from VMS and CMM
  • Use precision tools such as Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicators
  • Perform contour and profile checks for press shop components
  • Support NPD quality documentation and first-off inspection reports
  • Collaborate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with internal standards
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects
