Job Description: Business Analyst Intern (3-Month Internship)

Position: Business Analyst (Intern)

Duration: 3 Months (Unpaid Internship)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: In-Office

Department: Business Intelligence & Analytics

Stipend/Conversion: Outstanding performance during the internship may lead to a full-time permanent position from the 4th month.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Intern to assist in gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and supporting communication between business and technical teams. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-time projects, using industry-standard tools such as JIRA, Confluence, UML, BPMN, and SQL.

Outstanding performers may be offered a paid position upon successful completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Create process flow diagrams and visual models using UML and BPMN.
  • Support requirement tracking and project documentation in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Write basic SQL queries to validate and analyze data for insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity in requirements.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and feedback during project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to identifying process gaps and suggesting improvements.
  • Support in preparing presentations, reports, and workshops for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of requirement gathering and business analysis concepts.
  • Familiarity with UML diagrams, BPMN, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn new business tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related fields
