Customer Service Representative – Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent support to customers, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience with every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints, troubleshoot problems, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Document customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to address customer needs.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Meet performance goals including response time, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus).
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software or CRM systems.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.
