Job Profile:

The Assistant Manager - Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the merchant banking vertical, ensuring compliance with SEBI and regulatory requirements, coordinating IPO and fund-raising activities, managing documentation, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting senior management in strategic transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational aspects of IPOs, private placements, and fund-raising transactions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory filings, SEBI guidelines, and compliance mandates
  • Coordinate with client companies, regulators, auditors, and legal teams
  • Support preparation and review of offering documents, due diligence reports, and valuations
  • Monitor timelines and deliverables for merchant banking processes
  • Develop process improvements and best practices within the operations function

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or LLB
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a merchant banking or financial advisory firm
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Securities Law (SEBI ICDR, Takeover Code), and IPO procedures
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
