1. Network Architecture & Operations

  • Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Internet connectivity across multiple sites.
  • Configure and administer switches, routers, access points, and load balancers.
  • Implement and maintain VLANs, routing, trunking, and link aggregation.
  • Manage and monitor MPLS and dual internet links, ensuring redundancy and uptime.
  • Perform daily health checks on critical network components and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and service providers for network-related incidents and escalations

2. Network Monitoring & Performance Management

  • Monitor network availability, latency, and bandwidth utilization using tools using OpManager.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, backups, and configuration documentation of network devices.
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, hardware failures, and link issues.
  • Maintain detailed network topology diagrams and asset documentation.

3. Network Security & VPN Management

  • Enforce micro-segmentation, VLAN isolation, and firewall policies to secure IT and OT networks and isolate mission-critical applications
  • Administer centralized firewall policy configuration, update deployment, and log analysis through Panorama console
  • Manage and secure remote connectivity via GlobalProtect VPN, including multifactor authentication (MFA), split tunneling, and endpoint posture checks.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for incident response, compliance, and audits.
  • Ensure network compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and organizational security frameworks.

6. Support & Collaboration

  • Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues and assist end users with connectivity problems.
  • Escalate complex incidents to L3 or OEM support teams when required.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and server teams for integrated operations.
  • Assist in planning and executing network upgrades or expansion projects.
