Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing across multiple products to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Conduct API testing and ensure seamless system integration using tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshoot database issues.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
  • Share knowledge through documentation, training, and mentoring.
  • Adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in manual testing, API testing, and SQL.
  • Experience in the insurance domain is preferred.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple products simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and grow.
