  • each undergraduate/postgraduate courses related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), focusing on its application in Fashion Design and Creative Industries.
  • Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and seminars on IPR topics such as copyright, patents, trademarks, design rights, trade secrets, and digital rights management.
  • Supervise student projects and research related to IPR in fashion and design.
  • Guide students in filing and protecting their original designs, innovative concepts, and creations through appropriate IP channels.
  • Keep up-to-date with latest developments in the IPR field and industry practices.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals, legal experts, and government bodies for guest lectures and workshops.
  • Develop course material, case studies, and practical assignments related to IPR in the fashion industry.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Assist students in understanding IPR challenges and opportunities in the fashion business.
  • Support the institution in organizing IPR awareness programs, seminars, and design clinics.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Qualification:

  • Master's degree or higher in Law (specialized in IPR), Fashion Technology, Design, or related field.
  • Preferably with a degree in Intellectual Property Law or Certification in IPR.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching IPR subjects or working in the field of Intellectual Property, preferably in the fashion or design industry.
  • Practical exposure to IPR filing processes, design registration, patent documentation, and trademark filing.
  • Experience in guiding students on industry projects and research.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of IPR concepts, policies, and application in creative industries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for design students.
  • Well-versed in latest developments and legal updates regarding IP in fashion and design.
