Role & responsibilities
Human Resources Functions
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as employment contracts, NDAs, employee files, onboarding documents and ID cards.
- Assist in employee onboarding and induction, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain HR records and employee databases with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in attendance tracking, leave management and monthly payroll input preparation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, staff events, internal communication, and wellness programs.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labour laws, and internal compliance guidelines.
- Handle employee exit process including clearance, documentation, and final settlements.
Administrative & Student Support
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, addressing academic, personal, and administrative needs.
- Assist in resolving student queries, concerns, and issues by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
- Organize and participate in orientation programs to help new students acclimate to the campus environment and its resources.
- Collaborate with academic advisors to help students understand degree requirements, course sequencing, and academic planning.
- Maintain accurate student records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with policies and accreditation requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, advocating for student needs and representing their interests.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on student success, personal development, and career readiness.
- Stay informed about institutional policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to student services.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and academic departments to enhance student experiences and streamline processes.
- Gather feedback from students and contribute to continuous improvement of services and programs.
- Maintain regular communication with students via email, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Coordinate and support campus events, workshops, and activities to enhance student engagement and community building.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, and employees.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of student administration processes, academic structures, and student support functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, HR systems, and student administration systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in handling queries and administrative requirements.
- High attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and quality of work.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and tact when dealing with sensitive information.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
- Prior experience in HR, administration, or student services preferred.
- Experience in educational institutions or service-driven environments is an advantage.
