Role & responsibilities

Human Resources Functions

  1. Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as employment contracts, NDAs, employee files, onboarding documents and ID cards.
  2. Assist in employee onboarding and induction, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  3. Maintain HR records and employee databases with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
  4. Assist in attendance tracking, leave management and monthly payroll input preparation.
  5. Support employee engagement initiatives, staff events, internal communication, and wellness programs.
  6. Ensure adherence to HR policies, labour laws, and internal compliance guidelines.
  7. Handle employee exit process including clearance, documentation, and final settlements.

Administrative & Student Support

  1. Provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, addressing academic, personal, and administrative needs.
  2. Assist in resolving student queries, concerns, and issues by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
  3. Organize and participate in orientation programs to help new students acclimate to the campus environment and its resources.
  4. Collaborate with academic advisors to help students understand degree requirements, course sequencing, and academic planning.
  5. Maintain accurate student records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with policies and accreditation requirements.
  6. Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, advocating for student needs and representing their interests.
  7. Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on student success, personal development, and career readiness.
  8. Stay informed about institutional policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to student services.
  9. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and academic departments to enhance student experiences and streamline processes.
  10. Gather feedback from students and contribute to continuous improvement of services and programs.
  11. Maintain regular communication with students via email, newsletters, and social media platforms.
  12. Coordinate and support campus events, workshops, and activities to enhance student engagement and community building.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, and employees.
  2. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Knowledge of student administration processes, academic structures, and student support functions.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, HR systems, and student administration systems.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in handling queries and administrative requirements.
  6. High attention to accuracy, confidentiality, and quality of work.
  7. Ability to maintain professionalism and tact when dealing with sensitive information.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Prior experience in HR, administration, or student services preferred.
  • Experience in educational institutions or service-driven environments is an advantage.
