RSM's National Healthcare Consulting practice is searching for a
Sr.
Associate Healthcare IT Integration Analyst
who will participate in all aspects of the systems development life cycle related to the integration of leading healthcare IT applications. This work will include defining customer requirements, building interfaces, designing information flow, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. In addition, this role will support strategic IT projects such as system integrations, IT systems assessments, software selections, and roadmap development. The Integration Consultant will be part of a multi-disciplined project team and will work collaboratively with both fellow consulting and client team members.

will also have a basic understanding of the consulting cycle process within the healthcare industry. As a key contributor he/she will support the building of a world class healthcare practice through listening to client needs, proposal development and presentation of solutions. Responsibilities

• Implement leading packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate healthcare business and management processes, regulatory requirements, and other business needs
• Deploy innovative healthcare industry-specific solutions
• Design integration approach, and define and build interfaces between various healthcare systems
• Support the deployment of packaged software's through data integration design, build, test, and deployment
• Develop and maintain system interfaces between various clinical, and revenue cycle systems
• Build, deploy, and maintain HL7 interfaces, to support back-end processes for financial and clinical applications and reporting
• Work with end-users and project teams to analyze and document data and workflow processes. Good data analysis, communication, troubleshooting and writing skills are required.
• Assess current state data flow and work with implementation team to validate proposed future state fits with overall project objectives
• Identify, assess and solve complex business integration problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Work interactively with clients and client team members to configure, test and validate the software application environment
• Contribute to IT systems assessments, system integrations, software selection projects, and system optimization projects.
• Train client personnel on new process/systems
• Travel as needed (30% - 35%)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, or similar program
• Minimum of three years' relevant experience with systems implementation projects
• Hands-on experience with integration engines like (InterSystems Ensemble/IRIS, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody)
• Direct experience with implementation of software in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare workflows and data exchange requirements.
• Experience implementing HL7 data conversions and updating existing interfaces
• Extensive experience with Admissions Discharge Transfer workflows & messages
• Technical experience with HL7, FHIR, API, XML, CDA, CCD and other such transactional standards
• Epic Bridges, MEDITECH and/or Cerner integration experience is an added bonus
• Experience with Solventum/3M Encompass systems integration is an added bonus
• Prior consulting experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in C++/C# software development.
• Experience with Azure using Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Function Apps, REST-JSON APIs, and OpenAPI
• Experience building complex prompts using OpenAI
• Hands-on experience with GPT-X configuration, testing, and automation
• Software/solution architect designing Azure PaaS solutions.
• Deep understanding of Azure services including VNet, Cosmos DB, Entra ID, and APIM
• Familiarity with GPT-X installation, configuration, and plan customization.
