About the Role

The Hotel School is seeking an experienced hospitality professional and educator to train the next generation of hoteliers in Front Office Operations and Communication Skills. This role blends academic delivery with industry practices, ensuring students are well-prepared for careers in leading hotels and cruise lines worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Training

  • Conduct engaging lectures and hands-on sessions on front office operations (reservations, guest relations, check-in/out procedures, property management systems).
  • Teach communication skills, including business English, customer service, and public speaking.

Curriculum & Assessment

  • Design, review, and update course materials in line with hospitality industry standards.
  • Prepare and evaluate assignments, practical exams, and assessments.

Student Mentorship

  • Guide students in practical exercises, role plays, and simulations.
  • Provide career counseling, support internship preparation, and mentor students for placement success.

Industry Integration

  • Incorporate real-life case studies into classroom learning.
  • Organize industry guest lectures, workshops, and hotel visits to bridge academics with practice.

Academic Administration

  • Participate in academic committees, audits, and program compliance.
  • Support student placement activities and institutional initiatives.

Research & Professional Development

  • Stay updated with global hospitality and communication trends.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in hospitality with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in Front Office.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching/training in hospitality, corporate training, or educational institutions.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in front office operations and hotel software.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Skilled in teaching methods and digital platforms (Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Ability to engage and inspire diverse learners.

Preferred Attributes

  • Awareness of Indian and international hospitality standards.
  • Passion for developing young professionals into industry leaders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
