Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Team Leader in Formulation R&D, located in Bengaluru. The role involves leading and managing formulation development projects for various dosage forms, including solid and liquid orals, and injectables. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing experiments using QbD (Quality by Design) and DoE (Design of Experiments) principles, overseeing technology transfers, managing bio-equivalency study processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Team Leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior scientists, and deliver high-quality, innovative formulations within project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in formulation development for solid orals, liquid orals, and injectable dosage forms
  • Proficiency in QbD (Quality by Design), DoE (Design of Experiments), and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in technology transfer, scale-up processes, and bio-equivalency studies
  • Ability to manage and lead teams, along with strong collaboration and mentorship skills
  • Analytical skills for method development and validation, including cytotoxic compounds
  • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical development lifecycle
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
