Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager R&D (Ayurveda) located in Bengaluru. The Manager will oversee day-to-day Research & Development activities, ensuring innovation and excellence in Ayurvedic product formulations. Responsibilities include leading R&D projects, managing and guiding the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring high-quality Ayurvedic products to market. The role aims to drive product innovation while maintaining alignment with the company's goals and values.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and Ayurvedic product research
  • Strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills to oversee and guide R&D personnel
  • Strong understanding of Ayurvedic herbs, oils, and traditional formulations
  • Proven expertise in Project Management for handling multiple research initiatives effectively
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ayurveda, Pharmacy, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of formulation chemistry and stability
  • Familiarity with AYUSH and BIS regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Creative and innovation-driven mindset
  • Strong vendor management and commercialization capability
  • Good understanding of clean, natural, and sustainable product trends
