Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Delivery Manager to lead and scale our technology delivery function. This role is a critical blend of technical leadership, strategic client & internal stakeholders management, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for end-to-end program delivery, ensuring our solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with our clients' strategic business objectives. You will lead high-performing teams, champion modern development practices, and drive continuous improvement across our delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Delivery Leadership: Take full ownership of multiple, complex technology programs, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Develop and execute clear delivery roadmaps, define key milestones, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
• Technical & Architectural Alignment: Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and technical leads to ensure our technology solutions are robust, scalable, and directly address business goals. Java, J2EE, Microservices architecture, and Full-stack exposure are a strong plus, as you will be expected to provide guidance and oversight on technical decisions.
• Team & Talent Enablement: Build, lead, and mentor high-performing, cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, DevOps engineers, and business analysts, across both onshore and offshore locations. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Agile & DevOps Orchestration: Champion and scale modern development methodologies, including Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps principles, to accelerate delivery cycles and improve software reliability.
• Governance & Performance Metrics: Establish a clear delivery governance model and define key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, lead time, defect density, and release reliability. Provide transparent and data-driven reporting to leadership and stakeholders using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communicating progress proactively, and resolving escalations effectively. Leverage stellar delivery to identify and support account growth opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 1215 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 56 years specifically in a Delivery Manager or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading and delivering large-scale enterprise applications, digital platforms, or complex IT programs.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a deep grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Financial Management: Solid experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for large projects.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders and technical teams.
• Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical and risk management skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and maintain project stability under pressure.
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.

Desired Skills & Certifications

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL.
• Scaling Agile: Experience with scaling Agile for large-scale enterprise programs.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in highly regulated industries such as FinTech, Healthcare, or BFSI.
• Cloud & Technology: Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Business Development: Experience in pre-sales or client solutioning is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to a given industry.
