Job Description:

Digit Insurance is seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst to join our Technology team, focusing on Life Insurance processes. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, technical expertise, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales & Partnerships, Underwriting, Actuary, Operations, Claims, Finance) and external partners to align on processes and applications.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; design system solutions.
  • Define and optimize customer journeys.
  • Coordinate with development teams for project planning and delivery.
  • Participate in sprint planning with Product Managers.
  • Drive business process improvements based on priorities.
  • Ensure smooth integration of life insurance processes into technology platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6 to 12 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in life insurance.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products and processes (quote, policy issuance, finance, claims).

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • SQL

  • API Integration
  • BRD (Business Requirement Document)
  • FRD (Functional Requirement Document)
  • Solution Design

  • Product Implementation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Managerial capabilities will be an added advantage.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
  • Role is based out of Koramangala, Bangalore.
  • This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role.
  • Based on performance and successful completion of Licentiate or LOMA certification, the role may be converted to full-time employment.
