Senior Business Analyst is an Individual Contributor role. They are involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, breaking them down into smaller parts, and implementing creative, data-driven solutions. You would be responsible for defining, tracking, and improving key metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders.   Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to coordinate efforts alongside other analysts as well as work independently
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand the business area, work with the team to evolve and define the business problems, translate them into analytical problems, design solutions, and help execute to deliver relevant insights that lead to actions.
  • Connect and explore large data sets (both internal and external), help gather, analyze, and model data to solve complex business problems.
  • Identify and develop centralized solutions to solve the needs of multiple stakeholders through efficient planning and execution.
  • Be proficient at solving ad hoc business problems, innovating on potential future solutions, and working with technology partners to build solutions and/or creative approaches to solve 'one-of-a-kind' problems.
  • Find opportunities to drive value through data & analytics
  • Recommends and implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of the information.

  Desired Skills & Expectations:
  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute
  • 3+ years of overall work experience in Analytics including SQL, Python, Advanced Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Experience building insights from analytics & telling data stories
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights in a precise, and actionable manner
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with peers & senior stakeholders demonstrating strong vertical and lateral influence.
  • Track record in building analytical solutions using quantitative and statistical approaches
  • Analytical skills with an excellent grasp of spreadsheet-based tools such as Excel or Google Sheets and are comfortable using SQL
