Safety Site Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies at the project site in line with statutory and company requirements
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA)
  • Ensure safe work practices for work at height, lifting operations, hot works, electrical works, and machinery usage
  • Enforce usage of PPE and ensure compliance by all workers and subcontractors
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety trainings regularly
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare corrective & preventive action reports
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve safety issues
  • Maintain safety records including PTW, TPI reports, safety checklists, and statutory documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, IS standards, and local safety regulations
  • Stop unsafe work and report critical safety violations immediately

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of construction & PEB site safety practices
  • Hands-on experience in HIRA, JSA, PTW systems
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to handle site manpower and enforce safety discipline
  • Knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response

  • Project Manager / HSE Head
