Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM Application Designer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable IT Operations Management applications on the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will ensure that business needs are accurately translated into technical solutions that optimize IT operations, improve service delivery, and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules including Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.

  • Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.

  • Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and user-friendly ITOM applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Lead technical design sessions, drive architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.

  • Create detailed technical design documentation, including process flows, data models, and integration blueprints.

  • Develop and maintain integration strategies using ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other tools.

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and administrators to ensure seamless delivery and deployment of ITOM solutions.

  • Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to build team capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure solution stability and performance.

  • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Continuously evaluate emerging ServiceNow ITOM capabilities and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Professional & Technical Skills :

  • Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM suite : Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.

  • Proven track record in application design and implementation on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes and best practices.

  • Proficiency in business process modeling and translating business requirements into

technical designs.

  • Experience with ServiceNow integration methods (Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID

Server configuration).

  • Ability to design intuitive, user-centric interfaces using Service Portal and UI/UX best practices.

  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript used within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Familiarity with configuration management databases (CMDB) and IT infrastructure concepts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
