We're looking for a Project Associate Intern to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring smooth project execution and communication. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn project management, gain exposure to real-world tech projects, and work closely with developers and project managers.

Responsibilities

As a Project Associate Intern, you will:

  • Communication & Coordination
  • Act as a bridge between project manager and developers, ensuring updates flow smoothly.
  • Follow up with developers to collect accurate task updates, blockers, and progress.
  • Assist in drafting project status reports and summaries for internal use.
  • Project Tracking & Tools
  • Help set up and maintain project tracking tools (ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Ensure all tasks, deadlines, and priorities are clearly updated in the system.
  • Track sprint progress and raise flags when delays or blockers arise.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Support in preparing project documentation, timelines, and checklists.
  • Help ensure compliance with internal project workflows and templates.
  • Project Support
  • Assist project managers in planning sprints, allocating tasks, and monitoring workload.
  • Collect feedback from team members and report back to managers.
  • Help monitor project KPIs such as task completion rates, turnaround time, and issue resolution.
  • Process & Operations
  • Suggest improvements in communication or project tracking processes.
  • Support onboarding of new team members to project tools and workflows.
  • Ensure cross-team dependencies are flagged and managed in time.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Interest in project management and working with technology teams.
  • Basic understanding of project tracking tools (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.) is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
