Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Division

Location:

Chennai

Qualification:

Preference BE Civil with MBA-Marketing

Experience:

8 +Years or above relevant experience in Civil infrastructure projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

· To ensure sales target achievement in co-ordination with business unit head/Sales Managers / Regional officers / engineers

· To study, map, segment and analyse, building systems with primary focus on Civil Infrastructure Projects. To develop potential markets and achieve the desired sales targets.

· To develop projects UPSTEAM with consultants, engineers and project owners/clients.

· To ensure dispersion of sales towards the market of steel composite bridges, concrete bridges(I-girder, box girder, segmental, stay cable etc..,) Post tensioning in structures, ground anchor, construction methods (enabling method) and repair and retrofitting etc..,

· Interacting with decision makers, business partners and key influences to strategically manage beneficial and profitable associations.

· Preparing presentations for the clients/consultants, receiving source approval/Pre-Qualification for Major orders.

· Cost Study, estimation of each project cost prior to submission. Quotation and commercial terms and conditions preparations.

· Resolution of contract variations and contract related issues within defined time frame (one month maximum) in co-ordination with Project Operations, Design Team and Finance Team.

· Undertaking techno-commercial discussion & finalizing order in co-ordination with reporting head, coordinating with other departments for timely deliveries & payment collections etc.

· Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out research, formulate

market analysis and deliver accurate business reports

· Understand the Indian contract laws with the help of in-depth study including FIDIC

· Preparation of budget, forecast, rolling plans, strategy for sales, services & marketing, analysis of reports, Business Activity MIS, presentation of implementation programs, other relevant sales reports.

· Overall responsibility of business monitoring and project co-ordination with top management.

· Contract management which includes variation of quantities, time, cost etc.., with clients

Knowledge:

Knowledge of steel composite bridges, concrete bridges, construction method.

Skills:

· Good Communication Skill

· Excellent Time Management to finish the work scheduled on Time

· Computer efficiency especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
