Job description

The Digital Commerce professional will be responsible for managing and growing the company's online sales channels. This role involves overseeing e-commerce platforms, optimizing product listings, driving digital sales strategies, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of digital commerce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the company's online store(s) and digital marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Oversee product catalog management, including product uploads, descriptions, pricing, and inventory tracking.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive online traffic, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and implement digital campaigns, SEO, SEM, and social commerce initiatives.
  • Monitor customer behavior, sales performance, and website analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure smooth order processing, fulfillment, and customer service in coordination with operations teams.
  • Stay updated on digital commerce trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, KPIs, and ROI for management review.
  • Assist in improving the digital customer journey to enhance retention and loyalty.
  • Support digital transformation projects and adoption of new e-commerce tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
  • Experience in managing e-commerce platforms and digital sales channels.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Flipkart) and e-commerce CMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
