Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate Health and Safety Policies across multilocation plants and offices of the organization.
- Create a culture among employees to create healthy and safe work environment.
- Conduct regulatory audits at multiple locations of the organization and identify potential hazards.
- Give inputs during the process of preparing new factory layout from safety perspective. Make necessary changes in prevailing factory layout to avoid probability of accidents.
- Conduct training of employees as per their risk exposures to ensure safe working environment.
- Conduct workshops on emergency procedures, safety practices, dos, donts etc. in view of adherence to statutory requirements.
- Track industry trends on health and safety related practices and realign organization wide practices.
- Conduct risk assessment and prepare plans to mitigate it.
- Track near-miss incidences and make necessary changes to avoid accidents.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis and formulate effective Corrective and Preventive actions in case of any mishap.
- Prepare formats and update health and safety documentation like Safety Manuals, Incident Reports etc.
- Compliance reporting and MIS preparation.
- Conduct continuous improvements in work environment to improve safety index.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Professional certifications like IOSH, NEBOSH, DGFASLI (Preferred).
