Lab Supervisor

Role Overview:

A lab supervisor is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, staff, and adherence to quality and safety standards, which includes managing daily activities, implementing procedures, ensuring compliance, and providing technical guidance to laboratory personnel. This role often involves a mix of technical oversight and personnel management, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a safe working environment within the lab.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Quality & Inspection

• Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to maintain accuracy and reliability of laboratory processes.
• Managing the maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment, as well as ordering necessary supplies.
• Maintaining accurate records of laboratory activities, including test results, quality control data, and inventory records.
• Assuring and Ensuring the quality of the product is maintained.
• Through check on the quality of the incoming raw materials and outgoing product

Documentation & Compliance

• ISO - Ensuring the lab operates in compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory guidelines, including document control, internal audits, and corrective actions
• Support internal and external audits, including ISO or customer-specific audits.
• Maintain test records, inspection logs, certificates of analysis, and quality documentation.

EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)

• Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and procedures
• Establish and promote a strong safety culture within the lab, conduct regular safety training for all personnel, and ensure they understand hazards, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.

Collaboration

• Effectively communicating with other departments, stakeholders, and staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.

Complaints

• Addressing customer complaints by investigating issues, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining clear communication with the affected parties

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Degree in BS.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
