Job Title: Agency Development Manager (Insurance Sales)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Team Building

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard insurance advisors/agents.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team through regular engagement, mentoring, and coaching.

2. Training & Development

  • Provide comprehensive training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and soft skills.
  • Conduct refresher workshops to enhance advisor productivity and performance.

3. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive life insurance sales through the advisor channel.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets, including premium collection, policy issuance, and persistency.
  • Identify and promote cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

4. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors to ensure retention and long-term association.
  • Support advisors in closing high-value sales and resolving customer queries effectively.

5. Compliance & Process Adherence

  • Ensure all advisors comply with company guidelines and IRDAI regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of sales activities.
