Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations: Assisting with daily opening and closing procedures, managing cash handling, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Management and Leadership: Supervising, training, and motivating employees to ensure high performance and a positive work environment. This includes creating staff schedules, conducting performance reviews, and assisting with the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and leading by example on the sales floor.
  • Sales and Profitability: Monitoring sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing sales data, and collaborating on strategies and promotional activities to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Inventory Management and Merchandising: Managing inventory levels, placing orders, overseeing stock replenishment, minimizing shrinkage (loss prevention), and ensuring visual merchandising standards are met to attract customers.
  • Administration and Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, and managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

  • A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and retail management software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
