We're looking for motivated and ambitious professionals to join our team in International Logistics & Freight industry. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, generating new business and coordinating logistics solutions for customers in US market
Responsibilities:
- Proactive Sales and Customer Portfolio Expansion: Initiate and conduct outbound sales calls to actively build and expand a robust portfolio of customers requiring freight services. This includes identifying potential leads, conducting needs assessments, and presenting tailored solutions to secure new business.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing customers. Focus on ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent communication, proactive problem-solving, and a deep understanding of their evolving freight needs, thereby fostering repeat business and loyalty.
- Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification: Continuously monitor and stay abreast of the latest industry trends, shifts in market demands, and competitive activities within the freight and logistics sector. Leverage this intelligence to provide valuable insights to both internal teams and customers, and proactively identify potential opportunities for growth and service optimization.
- Expert Rate Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate freight rates with both carriers and shippers. The objective is to secure the most favorable deals for all parties involved, balancing cost-effectiveness for customers with sustainable profitability for the company and fair compensation for carriers.
- Comprehensive Documentation and Transaction Management: Efficiently handle and meticulously manage all necessary paperwork and documentation associated with freight transactions. This includes ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely processing to facilitate smooth and legally sound operations.
- Operational Issue Resolution: Actively address and effectively resolve any issues or concerns that may arise at any stage of the transportation process. This requires a proactive approach to problem identification, rapid communication, and collaborative solutions to ensure seamless and uninterrupted freight operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the US/international voice process.
- Background in freight brokerage or logistics is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Willingness to work night shifts (aligned to US time zone).
- Familiarity with US geography and logistics terms is an advantage
