Job Purpose:
The Manager Current Account is responsible for acquisition, relationship management, and portfolio growth of Current Account customers. The role focuses on driving CASA (Current Account & Savings Account) balances, ensuring high-quality client onboarding, cross-selling banking products, and delivering superior service to business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acquisition & Business Development
- Acquire new Current Account customers through direct sourcing, referrals, and market networking.
- Drive CASA growth by generating leads and converting them into active relationships.
- Target SMEs, corporates, traders, and professionals for Current Account propositions.
2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Current Account holders.
- Conduct regular client interactions to understand banking needs and offer solutions.
- Enhance customer engagement by cross-selling relevant products (payment solutions, trade finance, forex, loans, digital platforms, etc.).
3. Revenue Generation
- Achieve assigned CASA and fee income targets.
- Deepen wallet share of existing customers by increasing product penetration.
- Monitor and reduce dormant/inactive accounts by reactivation strategies.
4. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to KYC/AML guidelines during customer onboarding and servicing.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and account opening formalities.
- Follow all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Market Intelligence & Team Collaboration
- Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends.
- Work closely with branch teams, product teams, and operations for seamless execution.
- Provide inputs to develop effective CA acquisition campaigns.
