About the Role

KnightsWood Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller (Oil & Gas – HSE) to join our Coimbatore office. This position is responsible for maintaining accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and project-related documentation.

The role requires prior experience in document management for Oil & Gas projects, with a particular focus on HSE standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in document control within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically involving HSE documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards, practices, and documentation procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Document Management Systems (DMS).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all HSE and project-related documentation.
  • Maintain records of safety manuals, risk assessments, permits, compliance reports, and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure timely distribution of documents to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Track revisions, updates, and approvals to maintain version control.
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring document availability and compliance.
  • Implement document control systems in line with ISO and Oil & Gas standards.
  • Coordinate with HSE teams and project managers to align documentation with safety policies.
