About the Role

Xylem Learning is on the lookout for proactive and student-focused Student Support Associates to join our growing team in Kozhikode. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for students and parents, offering expert guidance on our academic programs and ensuring a smooth onboarding and support experience. Your efforts will directly contribute to student satisfaction, retention, and the continued success of Xylem Learning.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in student support, academic advising, customer service, or educational counselling—especially those passionate about helping learners thrive in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with students and parents via inbound and outbound calls to understand their academic needs and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Assist students in selecting the right programs based on their academic background, goals, and preferences.
  • Provide clear and professional information about Xylem Learning's courses, support services, and policies.
  • Deliver personalised student support to build lasting relationships and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, query resolution, and engagement to maintain high levels of student satisfaction.
  • Accurately document student interactions, feedback, and support actions using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including academics, marketing, and operations to stay updated on courses, schedules, and student-related processes.
  • Share feedback and insights to help improve student support systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in student support, academic counselling, or customer service—preferably in the education or edtech sector.
  • Track record of meeting support or engagement targets is a plus.

Key Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with students and parents.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling concerns.
  • Self-motivated, empathetic, and student-focused.
  • Proficiency in Malayalam is preferred; good command of English is desirable.
