Department/Role: Assistant Manager Sales & Marketing
Location: Bangalore
Job Purpose
To support the Sales & Marketing function in achieving business targets through customer management, sales coordination, lead generation, order follow-ups, and marketing activities, ensuring timely communication, customer satisfaction, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing existing customers and identifying new customer leads for business growth.
- Handle customer communications, address queries, and support the quotation process.
- Coordinate order processing with CSOM, Production, and Dispatch teams.
- Support Sales Head in achieving monthly/quarterly order booking and dispatch targets.
- Maintain customer data, enquiry records, order pipeline, and follow-up documentation.
- Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and lead generation activities.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and customer events.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, order status reports, and customer feedback data.
- Follow-up on payments and commercial documentation.
- Assist in implementing 5S and standard procedures within the Sales & Marketing department.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- MBA in Marketing/Sales (Preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in B2B or industrial sales.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in customer handling, lead follow-up, or inside sales role.
