Job Overview
PNC is seeking a
Mobile Accessibility Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to provide accessibility testing, coaching, and consulting to native mobile Agile teams. The ideal candidate will help teams deliver
high-value, accessible digital experiences
by identifying and resolving accessibility issues early in the development process. This role requires deep familiarity with accessibility standards, tools, and assistive technologies, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accessibility testing for native mobile applications to ensure WCAG 2.2 A/AA conformance.
  • Guide Agile teams on accessibility best practices and integration within the development lifecycle.
  • Coach and mentor teams on accessibility standards, tools, and testing methodologies.
  • Evaluate the functionality of ARIA attributes in mobile applications.
  • Help teams identify and fix accessibility issues proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is embedded throughout product development.
  • Provide professional consulting and thought leadership in mobile accessibility.

Mandatory Skills

  • Accessibility testing experience with assistive technologies:

  • TalkBack (Android)

  • Switch Access (Android)
  • VoiceOver (iOS)
  • Voice Control (iOS)

  • External Keyboard Support (iOS & Android)

  • Professional experience in digital accessibility testing.

  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 A/AA standards for mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in testing ARIA attributes and functionality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
