Production Planner

Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities).

  • Production Planner / Material Planner Roles and Responsibilities
    • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Equipment, Quality, Day store and Warehouse) to align Weekly production plan.
    • Ensure raw materials, WIP, and finished goods are available per production needs.
    • Awareness about Bill of Material, Release PR and Monitoring PR to GRN process In SAP/ERP.
    • Maintain material tracking, procurement alignment, and inventory control to ensure timely availability while minimizing excess.
    • Review the production plan and ensure the all material availability
    • Awareness of Production norms Like Productivity, Machine Efficiency, Cycle time
    • Awareness about Planning Activity in SAP Like PR, Production Order Creation, Material Code Creation
    • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
    • Facilitate daily or weekly planning meeting or forum to continuously improve planning process and achieve related supply chain goals.
    • Coordinate with different departments to ensure the availability of resources and materials.
