Role & responsibilities

To lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of the Free Trade and Warehousing Zone (FTWZ), ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, safety, statutory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role is pivotal in driving efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to the long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize FTWZ operations, including logistics, warehousing, and value-added services.
  • Manage safety protocols, oversee a large workforce, and liaise with customers, FTWZ users, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain the operations most effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify ways to minimize costs and improve productivity to achieve budgeted volumes.
  • Monitoring Legal, statutory, and operational requirements.
  • Act as a catalyst in assuming and demonstrating the shareholders' value and reflect on our principles, demonstrating an ability to respond to emergencies with speed
  • Analysing daily, weekly monthly reports to monitor the effectiveness of procedural changes.
  • Build strong value-driven relationships with external agencies & customers as per their and trade demand.
  • Actively contribute to ongoing organizational improvement with a strategic vision for resource requirements.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and provide insightful recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Support the Commercial team in understanding customers' operational requirements and provide them with most optimal solution
  • Efficiently manage and maintain various contracts to ensure strategic alignment and operational success
  • Adhere to and promote Quality Health Safety and Environment and Security policy and procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any Master's degree with an in-depth understanding of warehousing operations
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective and efficient communication.
  • At least 10 years of experience, with 5 years in senior management, is mandatory
