Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to optimize IT processes and workflows.
• Serve as a technical lead, providing guidance and support to junior team members and assisting in their professional development.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and templates to automate repetitive tasks, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Integrate automation solutions with existing infrastructure and third-party tools to ensure seamless operation and compatibility.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze existing systems, and identify automation opportunities.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT automation and incorporate them into the organization's automation strategy.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist in their professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs, prioritize automation initiatives, and deliver timely solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) working as an IT Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Strong proficiency in workflow design and automation using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, or similar.
• Experience with system integration technologies and protocols, such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration and automation platforms such as Nintex, UiPath, or similar.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their respective automation services.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Advantage:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Puppet Certified Professional, or similar.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
• Certification in workflow automation or integration technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath RPA Developer, etc.).
• Knowledge of workflow design best practices and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
• Knowledge of configuration management best practices and security standards.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
