Department: Retail Marketing

Location: Haryana

Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in Cement / Building Materials industries.

Position Overview

Our Client Company is looking for an experienced Area Technical Manager to lead technical services, field team operations, influencer engagement, and retail marketing initiatives in Haryana. The role requires strong on-ground experience in the Cement or Building Materials industry, with proven capability in territory management and technical/business development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership & Territory Management

  2. Lead, monitor, and motivate the secondary technical/retail team in the assigned area.

  3. Review the teams daily visit plans, PJP adherence, and activity performance.
  4. Ensure consistent improvement in productivity and achievement of monthly KPIs.

  5. Influencer Network Development

  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Engineers, Contractors,and IHBs in the Bhubaneswar region.

  7. Ensure daily field visits and onboarding of influencers into the SSML Influencer Scheme.
  8. Achieve month-on-month growth in active engineers and contractors.

  9. Secondary Sales & Market Development

  10. Monitor secondary sales performance and ensure team compliance with monthly targets.

  11. Support the field team in expanding market penetration and enhancing brand presence.
  12. Drive addition of active contractors and IHBs on a monthly basis.

  13. Influencer Support & Issue Resolution

  14. Address influencer concerns promptly with complete satisfaction and retention.

  15. Coordinate with internal teams for effective technical and service-related resolutions.

  16. Reporting & Analysis

  17. Prepare and present fortnightly and monthly performance reports for management review.

  18. Conduct data-based analysis of team performance, influencer engagement, and market trends.

Qualification & Experience

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Building Materials industries.
  • Experience in Business Development, Technical Services, or Retail Market Support.
  • Must have prior experience in managing a territorial field team.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and building materials (preferably TMT).
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proven team-handling and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors in the region.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and proactive approach.
  • Good understanding of the Haryana construction market.
