We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Technology Business Analyst
to act as the bridge between our business team (Account Managers, Sales, and sometimes Clients) and our technology team. This role requires a deep understanding of both business needs and technical capabilities to translate requirements into clear, actionable documentation for development teams. The ideal candidate will be skilled at conducting requirement-gathering sessions, preparing precise functional documentation, and demonstrating solutions to both prospects and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business–Technology Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with
    business teams
    (Account Managers, Sales, Operations) and
    technology teams
    (Developers, QA, Architects) to ensure business requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Participate in client meetings to capture, clarify, and validate requirements.
  • Understand the business context and translate it into technical requirements for the development team.

2. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prepare
    Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
    ,
    Functional Specifications (FSD)
    ,
    Change Request (CR)
    , user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with project goals.

3. Solution Support & Demonstrations

  • Work with the technology team to validate deliverables against requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver
    product demos
    and
    feature walkthroughs
    for prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Create user guides, FAQs, and training materials where required.

4. Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide timely status updates and progress reports.
  • Manage expectations and clarify scope changes when needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong ability to
    understand business processes
    and map them to technology solutions.
  • Excellent
    documentation skills
    (BRD, FSD, CR, user stories, flow diagrams).
  • Proficient in tools such as
    JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart
    , or equivalent.
  • Exceptional
    communication and presentation skills
    (verbal & written).
  • Ability to conduct effective
    client demos
    and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic understanding of
    SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software architecture
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a
    technology-driven environment
    .
  • Prior experience working with
    both client-facing teams and software development teams
    .
  • Domain knowledge in
    hospitality tech, Loyalty
    is a plus.
