We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong techno-functional background and extensive experience in handling Government and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) projects. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of government processes, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Elicitation & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, PSU representatives, and project sponsors to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to identify current challenges and desired outcomes.

Techno-Functional Design:

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between the technical development team and business users to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Process Mapping & Optimization:

  • Analyze existing workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend optimization strategies aligned with e-Governance standards.

Compliance & Standards Alignment:

  • Ensure adherence to government policies, IT Act guidelines, data privacy norms, and relevant compliance frameworks.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Use Case documents.
  • Create detailed project progress reports and present to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Act as the key point of contact between clients, end-users, and technical teams.
  • Conduct training sessions and user acceptance testing (UAT) for smooth project rollout.

Project Implementation Support:

  • Support project managers in creating implementation plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in change management and post-deployment analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in government sector or PSU projects.
  • Strong techno-functional expertise with exposure to large-scale IT/e-Governance implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with:

Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)

Government workflow systems

Public procurement processes

Compliance with NIC, MeitY, or similar government IT standards

  • Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare dashboards, and provide insights for decision-making.
