Job Title: Data Entry Operator (Excel & Tally)

Department: Accounts / Administration / Data Management

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Admin Officer

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Data Entry Operator responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP 9. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong typing skills, and be comfortable working with numbers, invoices, and financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter daily transactions such as purchases, sales, receipts, and payments in Tally ERP 9
  • Maintain and update records and reports using Microsoft Excel (including spreadsheets, logs, and summaries)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data entered in both Tally and Excel
  • Verify documents like invoices, bills, and vouchers before data entry
  • Prepare basic Excel reports like stock reports, sales summaries, and expense sheets
  • Assist in filing and organizing physical and digital documents
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data security and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with the accounts and admin team for timely data entry and reporting
  • Maintain logs of work completed and follow up on pending data entries

Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate in Commerce or related field (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry, especially using Tally ERP 9 and Microsoft Excel
  • Typing speed of at least 30–40 WPM with high accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and inventory is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel functions such as data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas

  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with office equipment like printers and scanners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
