Education Qualifications

·   Graduate in Mechanical Engg

Core experience/skills

·   Mid-level; 5-7 years of experience in design/R&D or engineering of escalator or Elevator products or experience in product development with exposure to product cycle management. Preferably Escalator background is added advantage.

·   Ability to analyze and provide data-driven decisions, Strategic thinking

·   Strong people skills

Experience

·   Working knowledge of General Arrangement Drawings, components listing, interfacing in Mechanical CAD, CREO, 3D Modelling software, Solid works.

·   Understanding of layouts. VBA/MS office macros development is added advantage

.   Creates design drawings (M-drawings) as requested based on products offering with reference building plans

.  Modifies the Bill of Material for the equipment and selects customer specific components when necessary.

.  As a member of an engineering team, shares his/her knowledge and skills with colleagues and participates actively in meetings and workshops.

.  Works independently on the assigned tasks and delivers the required results on time.

.  Identifies and selects the components required for the solution and designs the individual

components to meet customer specific requirements.

·   Experience in managing product lifecycle.

·   Experience in engineering, business development and sales/data analysis on market or competitor
