Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an Inside Sales and Estimation Manager to join our Systems team in Mumbai. The role involves estimation of rotating equipment, skid-based/modular systems, and chemical process equipment. The candidate should demonstrate accountability, flexibility, strong time commitment, and a proactive approach. This role is expected to transition into a frontline sales role in 1–2 years.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Primary
- Prepare proposals and estimations for frontline sales engineers.
- Interact with customers for requirement gathering and technical clarifications.
- Provide post-order support to execution teams as required.
- Maintain updated records in sales/project systems (Salesforce, ERP).
- Basic knowledge of distillation and heat transfer is essential.
- Process equipment estimation and preparation of PFDs & P&IDs for proposals.
- Knowledge of thin film evaporators or similar distillation equipment sizing.
- Travel (15–20%) to Gujarat factory and customer locations (India/abroad) for technical discussions.
- Effective communication in English; prior experience with US, European, or SE Asian customers preferred.
Secondary
- Understanding of commercial terms in sales proposals.
- Knowledge of vacuum technology and vacuum systems.
- Familiarity with skid structures and modular systems.
- Exposure to process design software (e.g., Aspen Plus) is an advantage.
- Willingness to take greater responsibilities and progress into leadership roles.
Knowledge & Skills
Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. (Chemical or Mechanical) – M.Tech preferred (reputed institute).
Experience:
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in sales estimation, process equipment, and systems.
Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer principles.
- Good aptitude and analytical ability.
- Effective communication and clear understanding of technical work.

- Ability to understand project requirements clearly.
- Adaptability to work across multiple projects and deadlines.
