We are a leading System Integrator specializing in Automation and Electrical solutions for process industries, with strong presence in Sugar, Power, Cement, Water and Metal sectors. Our portfolio includes turnkey automation projects, electrical panels, retrofits, and customer support services.

Position Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling automation and electrical solutions to industrial clients. The role demands strong technical understanding, client interaction, and execution focus to achieve sales targets and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate enquiries and convert them into orders for automation systems, VFDs, electrical panels, and spares.
  • Support senior sales team in preparing proposals, technical documentation, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with plant engineers, procurement, and maintenance teams at client sites.
  • Conduct site visits, collect technical requirements, and provide inputs for solution design.
  • Coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and report progress regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Industrial Sales (preferably Automation, Electrical, or Process Industry equipment).
  • Strong technical understanding of automation systems, drives, and electrical panels.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales of ABB / Siemens / Rockwell automation or drives will be an advantage.
  • Exposure to Sugar, Power, Cement, or Metal industries.
