Job Description

The Manager Bidding & Tendering will be responsible for managing the complete bid process, from opportunity identification to bid submission. This includes reviewing tender documents, preparing proposals, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maximize bid success. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills to secure projects in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.

1. Tender Identification & Analysis:

  • Track and identify potential tenders through various government, corporate, and international procurement portals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of tender documents, eligibility criteria, scope of work, and financial implications.
  • Assess risks, opportunities, and feasibility of participation in tenders.

2. Bid Preparation & Submission:

  • Develop comprehensive bid strategies and proposals in alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals in compliance with tender specifications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tender documents, including pre-bid queries, bid security, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and technical teams to finalize submissions.

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Liaise with government bodies, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify bid requirements and enhance proposal competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, procurement, finance) to gather required inputs and approvals.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the bidding and procurement ecosystem.

4. Bid Negotiation & Post-Tender Activities:

  • Participate in bid clarification meetings and negotiations with clients.
  • Address post-bid queries, presentations, and discussions with clients and consultants.
  • Lead contract finalization efforts in coordination with legal and project execution teams.

5. Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor bidding strategies, and pricing benchmarks to enhance bid competitiveness.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of past bids, market intelligence, and pricing strategies.

6. Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices in all bidding activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders, bid submissions, approvals, and correspondence.
