This is for someone who understands platforms, culture, formats, hooks, and human behaviour — and can translate all of that into powerful, social-first copy.

Role Overview

You'll be the
brain + voice

behind social-first content.

From IG reels to short-form scripts, from witty X posts to storytelling-driven carousels, your words will shape conversations and make brands feel alive on the internet.

You'll collaborate closely with design, strategy, and account teams to build content that people
actually want to consume

What You'll Do

Social Copywriting (Core Focus)

• Write
  scroll-stopping copy

for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn & X (Twitter).

• Craft
  engaging scripts

for reels, shorts, and social-first video content.

• Develop
  platform-wise hooks

(IG reel hooks, tweet punchlines, carousel headlines).

• Convert briefs into
  creative, contextual and thumb-stopping narratives

.

• Create
  copy + visual alignment

with designers for seamless storytelling.

• Build and maintain
  brand voice

across different digital touchpoints.

• Edit and proofread content to ensure
  clarity, consistency & impact

.

Social-First Content Strategy

• Plan
  monthly content calendars

with ideas rooted in culture, audience behaviour and brand personality.

• Identify
  trends, moments & formats

relevant for each brand.

• Analyze performance and iterate copies to boost
  engagement, retention & shareability

.

• Support pitches with
  concepts, hooks, campaign ideas

, and trend insights.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves

• 2–5 years in
  social media copywriting

or digital content creation.

• Strong portfolio of
  social copies

(reels, ads, posts, tweets, scripts).

• Excellent command over
  language, tone, hooks, and storytelling

• Understanding of
  platform behaviour, content trends & audience psychology

.

• Ability to work across multiple brands & timelines without losing quality.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with
  integrated social campaigns

(IG/FB/YT).

• Basic understanding of
  social media analytics

• Exposure to
  D2C / lifestyle / consumer-first brands
