Job Summary

As a Lead Developer you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions using Liferay Java and related technologies. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of software applications using Liferay Java JavaScript CSS HTML and J2EE to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with the Claims domain.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Oversee the integration of software components ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies applying them to enhance solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all software solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document technical specifications and project progress for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Liferay Java JavaScript CSS HTML and J2EE with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Claims domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Show proficiency in agile methodologies contributing effectively to team collaboration and project delivery.
  • Have strong communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
